The Small Business Consultation Service was officially launched last night at an event at Noel Leeming on Auckland’s North Shore. It is designed to help small businesses set up their technology to enable their business to run efficiently, to grow as technology advances, and to be future proof. Through this service, small businesses can accurately assess their IT needs, and access enterprise quality hardware at heavily discounted prices.
They want to make sure their hard-earned money goes towards tools that truly work for them.
We're here to help small businesses feel confident and empowered to make tech decisions that drive their growth
To access the Small Business Consultation service, businesses should head to www.twgb.co.nz to sign up for a free appointment with a member of the technical team. The service is available nationwide, and consultations can be done in-store, online or on site at your business premises.
A DIGITAL BOOST ALLIANCE PARTNERSHIP
The Small Business Consultation Service has been developed by four members of the Digital Boost Alliance, led by The Warehouse Group, with support from Spark, Ricoh, and Google.
While the Digital Boost Alliance members have been undertaking individual projects to help SMEs and communities adopt digital, this is the first significant partnership. This collaboration enables the Alliance to leverage their collective purchasing power to negotiate lower costs, which can then be passed on to SMEs.
With members from both the private and public sectors, the Digital Boost Alliance is a community of passionate New Zealand organisations working together to motivate and inspire businesses, communities and individuals to lift their use and knowledge of digital technology.
Through their commitment to providing free, discounted, or subsidised digital offers, the Alliance aims to drive digital acceleration in Aotearoa to keep New Zealand moving forward.
By leveraging the collective expertise and resources of our members, we aim to drive digital transformation and support the growth and success of Aotearoa.
We encourage and welcome other Digital Boost Alliance members to contact us and join this initiative, further strengthening our collaborative efforts to make a positive impact.
ACCELERATING A DIGITISED ECONOMY
According to research conducted by Infometrics on behalf of MYOB, digitisation in Aotearoa’s SMEs - shifting from no to low levels of digitisation, or low to moderate - would mean every $100 invested in incrementally improving the use of digital business tools in a small business, would return $240 - $310. Overall, the modelling revealed that improving digitisation amongst New Zealand’s SMEs could equate to a gross benefit of $8.5bn (NZD) to New Zealand’s economy and a 2.6% contribution to GDP.
Ricoh's involvement in the Digital Boost alliance is a continuation of our focus on digitally accelerating Aotearoa and creating a better future for everyone.
Consultation service which supports this ambition by providing hardworking business owners with the tools they need to boost their efficiency.
